This resort has been a major attraction for both foreign visitors and the Spanish alike. It is located approximately 30 Km from Malaga and its airport.
When you arrive at Malaga Airport, if you do not wish to drive, you can take the train or bus to Fuengirola centre. From there you will find a regular bus service for areas such as Algeciras, Benalmádena, Cádiz, Coín, Córdoba, Granada, Jerez, La Línea de la Concepción, Gibraltar, Málaga, Marbella, Mijas, Ronda, Sevilla and Torremolinos.
Whatever your taste or preference, you will find everything in Fuengirola, from beautiful beaches of fine sand, Art, Museums, Go Karting, Horseriding, Watersports, Fishing, Marina, a promenade (Paseo Rey of España) which extends over 8 kms, and many other activities to keep you amused.
The beaches are excellent and there are over 7 km of them… The most famous are Carvajal Torreblanca del Sol, Los Boliches, Las Gaviatas, Santa Amalia and El Castillo.
There is a large Marina where you will find numerous Tapas bars and restaurants along with holiday excursion operators. There are many boat trips, scuba diving courses and other activities available from here. At night this area is home to many nightclubs, bars and nightlife.
There are all the facilities you would expect from a modern resort including restaurants, bars, hotels, nightclubs etc. There is also a wide range of attractions including the Bio Park (Zoo) and Water Park nearby.

The original Arab Suhail castle has been recently renovated and now hosts festivals and concerts over the summer period. It is one of the major features as you travel through Fuengirola on the motorway.

La Plaza de los chinorros. A plaza of a number of different bars and restaurants, serving a delightful range of drinks, tapas, and meals. An ideal place to sit outside, to relax, winter or summer and watch the world go by.
Fuengirola also has a major shopping complex which includes all the major clothes and food outlets and also a multiplex cinema.
Fuengirola also host one of the largest Skate parks in Europe where you will find a large number of youngsters skateboarding whilst their parents are using the extensive shopping facilities.

The area is also very well known for its Golf as there are numerous Golf Clubs surrounding the town. These include Mijas, El Chaparral , La Cala and many others.
